It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie Elizabeth LaRocca (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Queens, New York, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Menger and Helen Perry Menger; her husband John LaRocca; and her brother Robert Menger. She is survived by: her boyfriend Michael Hill; her children, Tony LaRocca (Emily), John Rodriguez (Mirna), Bob LaRocca (Gloria), Karen Gremaux (Dan), Kathy Evans and Karleen DeClemente (Rich); and her siblings, Carol Bernardis and Art Menger (Elaine). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sharing House to honor her service to others and/or to the Transylvania County Animal Services for her love of animals.
