It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ann Macconnie (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Hogan and Hilda Hogan (Scheuerman); her grandparents, Patrick Hogan, Mary Hogan (McCleary), Fred Scheuerman and Anna Scheuerman (Low); her sisters, Margaret Kletecka (Hogan) and Esther Laube (Hogan) of Connecticut; her children, Jean Marie Van Dyke (John) of Franklin, AR, Michael William MacConnie (Cindy) of Pisgah Forest, NC, Nancy Lynn Pierce (Doug) of Durham, NC and Debra Joan Lurie (Steven) of Tampa, FL.; and her grandchildren, Lindsey, Brittany, Jessica, Ciara, Joshua and Jacob.
