She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyt Cornelius and Lena Hartness Cornelius; her sister Barbara Phillips; and her son Steven Anthony Bell. She is survived by: her husband Robert Locke Bell; her children, Bobby Bell, Jr. (Diana) of Raleigh, NC, Shannon Jones (Steve) of Greenville, SC and Mari Barrett (Glenn) of Charleston, SC.; her grandchildren, Locke Bell, Will Jones, Blair Sucher and Marian Barrett; and her sister Joan Sherrell (Russell) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
