It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Henson Bryson (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ollie Haynes Bryson Jr.; her siblings, Hurstle, Hub, Jake (John), Helen Robertson Catherine Brewer and Shirley Kinman; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Waldrop, Frances Bryson, Georgia Henson and John L Bryson.

She is survived by: her sons, Terry Bryson (Jan) and Dicky Bryson (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jamie Bryson (Sarah), Jessica Bryson Owen (Nicolas), Brooke Ledford and Mitchell Ledford; her great grandchildren, Myah Owen, Collin Owen, Tillie Bryson, Sadie Bryson, Elsie Bryson and Emilie Bryson; and her siblings, Maureen Angle, Ann Finnen, Jean Robinson and Jack Henson.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Cathey's Creek Baptist Church Buildings and Grounds fund.

“So many of my childhood memories are intertwined with Aunt Margie and her family that I cannot single out just one. When I think of her, I can so clearly remember her smiling face and sweet voice welcoming her sister's family and the good times we had during our visits. Children know when they're welcomed and loved and Aunt Margie always made us feel that way. She was a kind and gentle soul; she will be sorely missed.”

I will hold in my heart fond memories of visiting her and Uncle Junior many summers and being so warmly welcomed and loved. Keith and I pray for your comfort and peace and send our love to you all.”
