As Lula departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lula. Though Lula may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rice and Mollie Enloe Rice; her former husband Charles W. Sherrill; and her husband Harry Ashworth. She is survived by: her son Larry C. Sherrill of Brevard, NC; her stepdaughter-in-law Leah Ashworth of Cherryville, NC; and her stepsons, Lyndon (Gayle) of Greenville, SC and Kenneth Ashworth of Brevard, NC. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
