She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth D. Shipman; her parent Bessie Shelton; and her siblings, Eugene "Bo" Shelton, Mary Lou Owen and Mildred Stamey.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Shipman (Annette), Darrell Shipman (Delayne), Tammy Shipman, Donna McCall (Tony) and Kim Lamb (James); and her close friends, Irene Wood and Leona Zachary. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
