It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Landis Pittman Jr. of Brevard, North Carolina, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph "Rudy" L. Pittman Sr. and Wanda B. Pittman of Wilmington; his uncles, Leon M. Brock Jr. of Stedman, NC, Donald George Brock of High Point, NC and Billy Ray Brock of Wilmington; his children, Samuel Pittman (Kayla Pittman) and Allison Kiraly (Alex Kiraly); and his grandchildren, Grayson, Charley Pittman and Mila Kiraly.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara P. Watson (Claiburn "Butch" Watson) and Ronald L. Pittman; and his aunt Catherine Tart.
