Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lambert Clayton Poor of Brevard, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 96, on January 14, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Patton Poor, Sr. and Reba Orr Poor; and his wife Frances Hicks Scruggs Poor. He is survived by: his siblings, George and Mary; his sons, Ron (Teresa) and David (Gay); his grandson Jason Brennan (Irene); his great grandchildren, Molly, Maggie and Emily; his niece Cindy Miller; and his friends, Tracey Littleton and Cathy Gary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Gillespie-Evergreen Cemetery Association – Maintenance, P.O. Box 1345, Brevard, N.C.
