She was predeceased by: her uncle Robbie; and her aunt Francie. She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Bennett (Betty Ann) of Brevard; her sisters, Melissa Dellinger (Kevin) of Hickory, NC, Amy Arias (Jason) of Vass, NC and Laura Ward; and her aunts and uncles, James Bennett (Ellie) of Arlington, VA, Thomas Bennett (Susan) of Scottsville, VA, Carol Bennett Mason of Butler, AL, Sandra Barnett (CD) of Butler, AL, Terrie Long (Jim) of Gibsonville, NC, Nancy Whaley (James) of Salisbury, NC, Martha Baird-Cochran of Flat Rock, NC and JoAnn Hamilton (Roger). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Before Covid, she actively participated in Special Olympics, locally and in competitions in Western NC, gathering quite the collection of medals in bocce, bowling, swimming, dressage, and the skills of soccer and basketball.
The family requests that in place of flowers, memorials be made to Transylvania County.
