She is survived by: her husband Marvin Leon Barton of Old Toxaway; her children, Claudia Whitmire Henderson (Bryan) of Old Toxaway, Jason Whitmire (Nicole) of Old Toxaway and Jessica Barton Meece (Kyle) of Six Mile; her grandchildren, Briana Henderson Beddingfield (Brandon) of Old Toxaway, Tucker, Luke, Gloria Whitmire of Old Toxaway and Ava Meece of Six Mile; her great grandchildren, Chloe and Timothy Beddingfield of Old Toxaway; her sisters-in-law, Danila, Kathryn Luker of Rosman, Velda Barton Hoxit (Jerry) of Cathey's Creek and Donna Barton White (Robert); and her aunt Ruby Reid Raines of Brevard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
