She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Monteith and Mamie Monteith; and her siblings, Vivian Gillespie, Bernice Monteith, Arnold Monteith, Doris Monteith of Joyce Whitmire, A. J and Charles Monteith.
She is survived by: her husband Marshall Whitmire; her children, Sheila Whitmire, Jennifer Evans (Kevin) and Christopher Whitmire; and her grandchildren, Courtney Whitmire, Heath Evans (Catherine) and Josie Evans. She is also survived by Her extended family includes many nieces and nephews and her sisters-in-law.
