It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Dempsey (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Ridgway, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughter Tami L Goostree; her husband Harlan Dempsey; and her child Terry. She is also survived by daughter and daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the Transylvania Animal Shelter, as Joyce was a lifelong advocate for stray and wayward animals.
