He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Henderson and Agnes Raxter Henderson; his wife Bearnice Henderson; his sons, Steve Henderson and Richard Henderson; and his siblings, Clay Henderson, Vivian Williams and Thomas Henderson.
He is survived by: his son Dwayne Henderson (Karen) of Rosman; his daughters-in-law, Gail Henderson of Lenoir and Marie Henderson of Asheville; his grandchildren, Josh, Kristen, Michael (Holly), Will (Mary Kathryn) and James; his great grandchildren, Oden and Otto Henderson; and his siblings, Sandy Bailey, Tim Henderson, Betty Jane Reese and Brenda Beaty.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations (100 N Country Club Rd, Brevard, NC 28712). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Henderson's Greenhouse-Nursery (1911 Old Rosman Hwy, Brevard, NC 28712).
