It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Goins (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Bev Coleman Goins; his children, John Scott Goins (Cheryl) of Brevard, Jeanne Rose-Elizabeth Goins, Christopher Todd Goins (Beth) of Brasstown, NC, Robert "Robb" Brooks Goins of Hayesville, Wendy Slater Goins Berry (Brad) of Brevard and Jay Scott Goins (Lindsey) of Marion; his sisters, Diane Wellmon of Kings Mountain and Karen Moss of Kings Mountain; and also Day. He is also survived by grandchildren and several cousins.
