She was predeceased by: her parents, Macie Wells Peterson and James Manuel Peterson; her husband Charles R. Loftis, Sr.; her former husband Hayden T. Ferguson, Jr.; her brother Frank A. Peterson (Lois Peterson); and her brothers-in-law, Dean Madden and Denny Landreth.
She is survived by: her niece Chrissy Garst; her nephews, Steve Balding and Smitty Peterson; her great-nephews, William Edward and O'Brien Gibbs; her sons, Charles R. Loftis, Jr. (Suzie) of Lake Toxaway and James Michael Loftis, Sr. (Rosie) of Brevard; her grandchildren, Brandy Loftis Moore (Rodney), Ava Loftis (Tommy Connell), Michael Loftis and Charlie Turner Loftis; her great grandchildren, Brianna Moore and Addison Moore Her; her siblings, RoAnn Balding (Arvil), Jeanne Landreth, Donnie Madden, Myra Kay Powell (Gary), Johnny Peterson and Charlie Peterson (Beverly); and also Aliana Belle Landreth.
