It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeraldine Paxton (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on June 16, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elize Raxter and Mary Reba McGaha Raxter; and her husband Thomas Wood Paxton.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 256 East Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712.

“Ms. Jeri was an amazing lady , a beautiful friend and the best Head start teacher this county has had ! She was my children's head start teacher at the Methodist Church on Caldwell back in the early 80s. She was amazing with the children and we reminisce about her to this day. May she rest and peace and her family and friends be blessed as their journey continues. She will be dearly missed ! Bonnie Hemphill and children: Ryan and Aimee.”
