She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Smith McCarson and Gladys Amanda Nelson; and her brothers, Guy, Mack, Edward, Harold and Allen.
She is survived by: her significant other Charles F. Calhoun (Chuck); her family, Karen B. Hittel (Steve) of Midlothian, VA and Thomas E. Banning (Tina) of Gainesville, GA; her sister Patty Roberts of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, Brandon Roberts, Karen Banning, Michael Banning, Jon Hittel and Ben Hittel; and her great grandchildren, Kayson, Bentley and Eleanor.
