With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Thomas Cassell (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on March 24, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Coatsworth and Leila Hayes Cassell. He is survived by: his wife Shirley C. Cassell; his children, Debbie Devore (Keith) of Horse Shoe, NC and Jimmy Cassell (Jane) of Brevard; his grandchildren, Michael DeVore (Amanda), Amy DeVore, Trey Cassell and Rachel Cassell; and his great grandchild Leo DeVore.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First United Methodist Church in Brevard at 325 N. Broad Street, Brevard, NC 28712.
