He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gaston and Eva Harron; and his sisters, Virginia Roberts and Doris Truluck. He is survived by: his wife Doris Howell Harron; his daughters, Deborah (Frank) and Katherine Pearson; his grandsons, Christopher and Frank; his great grandchildren, Brennen, Christian and Carson; and his brothers, Jack Harron of Brevard and Dwight Harron of Weaverville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
