He was predeceased by: his parents, Grayson Hensley and Edith Phillips Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Johnson Hensley; his daughters, Scotia Childress (Matt) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Kathy Weaver (Mike) of Winston-Salem; his granddaughters, Molly, Hannah, Rebekah, Sarah, Kyndall and Aubrey; his great grandchildren, Keller and Oaklee; his sisters, Linda Hebert and Brenda McCall; his uncle Charles Phillips; and his aunts, Erma Barnett and Betty Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
