It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Allen Essenberg (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on September 19, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Jacob Essenberg; his wife Marilyn Kay Essenberg; his sister Florence Heuvelhorst; and also, Max Heuvelhorst and Robert Veldman.
He is survived by: his parent Martha Degroot Essenberg; his sons, Don Essenberg (Caryl) of Summerfield, NC, Dan "Coach" Essenberg (Beth) of Brevard, NC, Ron Essenberg of West Jefferson, NC and Jon Essenberg (Jodi) of Wilmington, NC; and his sister Bernice Veldman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four Great –Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
