It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Paul La Jr. of Brevard, North Carolina, born in Dante, Virginia, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Paul La Force Sr. and Stella Wright La Force; his wife Jean Elizabeth Dunnavant of Petersburg; and his son Douglas Ronald La Force. He is survived by: his sons, Glen Winston La Force, Sr. (Linda) and Henry Paul La Force III (Amy) of Knoxville, TN; his siblings, Marie Talley (La Force) and Dr. Ronald Dew; his sister-in-law Winnie Dew of Columbia, SC; and his grandchildren, Win La Force Jr. of Orlando, Betsy La Force of Charleston, SC, Catherine La Force (Tim Carter) of Nashville, TN and Julie Freeman (La Force). He is also survived by partners.
