He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Ward and Ernestine Owen Ward; and his brother Gary Ward. He is survived by: his wife Lajean Ward; his sons, Grady Ward and Jesse Ward; his stepchildren, Lee Swangim, Brie Leslie and Cassie Leslie; and his siblings, Mark Ward (Laura), Sandy Jones (Maurice) and Kim Kelly (Scott). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
