She was predeceased by: her parents, Rush Grey Allison and Mildred "Mimi" Louisa Meetze; her husband Jim; her brother Daniel; her sons, Jamie and John Sanders; and her grandsons, Allen Ramsey and Adam Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughter Allison Sanders Ramsey (Barton); her daughter-in-law Cynthia Aspinwall Sanders; her grandchildren, Hillary Dabney (Brian), James Ramsey (Rebecca), Elizabeth "Fizzy" Ramsey (Kristen), Ryan Sanders, Dale Williams (Travis) and Hannah Sanders; and her great grandchildren, Bart, Claudia, Mildred, Kurt, Preston, Madelyn, Layla and Sage.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Universalist Unitarian Church (24 Varsity St, Brevard, NC 28712). A reception was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
