It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Erdman (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint George leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Emery Erdman and Gladys Erdman. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Nuffer; his sister Carol Ann; his children, George VI of Gouverneur, Jennie of St. Helen, Sarah of Pisgah Forest and Dan of Gouverneur; his great grandchild Geneva Drakeford; and his sister-in-law Joan Dando. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren.
