In loving memory of Genelle Elizabeth Chapman (Brevard, North Carolina), who departed this world on January 16, 2025 at the age of 71. Genelle leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Joe Henry Osteen; and her grandparents, Mae, Sam Owen, Sallie and Zach Osteen.
She is survived by: her significant other Roy Lee Chapman; her mother Agnes Owen Osteen; her daughters, Connie Case (Richie) and Adrianne Dodson (James); her grandchildren, Sydney Nale (Austin), Luke Dodson (Maggie), Matthew Case and Kenadie Dodson; and her sisters, Patricia Merrill and Gail Warren (Ronnie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (10 West Holden Rd, Brevard, NC 28712). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
