She was predeceased by: her daughter Ellen Goulet; and her brothers, Jerry Wayne and David Hawkins. She is survived by: her siblings, Nadine Brockman of Alabama, Barbara Byrd of Alabama, Clorinda Gerashimchik of Alabama and Kenny (Amy Hawkins) of Florida; her grandchildren, Nathan (Amanda Bell Chapman) of Sylva, Cole (Laura Miller Chapman) of Quebec, Reid (Amanda Huggins Chapman) of Old Toxaway, Will Goulet (Danielle Raines) of Sapphire, Daniel (Dana Boley Goulet) of Sapphire, Creid (Alyssa Ayers) of Sylva, Cassidy Ayers of Balsam Grove, Clay Sweet of Montana, Zeb Sweet of Penrose, Amy (Jimmy Briggs) of Brevard and Shannon (Kimberly Phillips) of Brevard; her children, Hayden, Garret, Brodie Chapman, Annabella Chapman, Hallie Chapman, Jasper Chapman, Liam Goulet, Tytus Goulet, Lexie Cochran, Gracie Briggs, Shantel Norman, Ethan, Isaiah and Aliya Phillips; and her great great grandchildren, Easton Ayers and Emberlyn Cochran. She is also survived by the many grandchildren and great- grandchildren that followed, and those who married into the family were immediately made true sons and daughters.
