It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Marcum (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on August 6, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee "Bop" McDonald, Sr. and Kathleen Bessie "Diddie" McDonald; her former husband Mallory Pate; and her husband Jim Marcum. She is survived by: her brother Jim McDonald Jr; her son Rick Pate (Kim); her grandchildren, Carsen, Caitlin and Caleb Pate; and her stepgrandchildren, Brittany and Bronson Marcum. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters in law.
