He was predeceased by: his daughter Darla Owen; his siblings, Tommy "Peanut", Donnie and Jean Davis; and also Lachlan Tannery.

He is survived by: his wife Dorinda; his daughters, Dawn Ingram (Randy), Denise Greer (Phil), Diane Cothran (David) and Bistra Hristova; his grandchildren, Matthew Mann, Julian Chaves (Cheri), Tyler Greer (Annie), Jordan Greer and Katie Cothran; his great grandchildren, Julie Chaves and Emma Greer; his siblings, Ted (Carolyn), Ronnie (Nancy), Larry (Betty), Steve (Linda) and Deb Ayers (Spud); and also, Phyllis Owen, Bill Davis and Evelyn Owen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
