With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edna Louise Woody (Brevard, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Whitmire and Exie Whitmire; her husband Floyd "Junior" Woody; and her sister Marie. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Woody Raxter (Chan); her grandchildren, Christan Raxter, Celena Barclay (Garrett) and Kyla Anders (James); her great grandchildren, Sabra Barclay, Eli, Graham and Boone Anders; and her siblings, Geneva Orr, Jerlene Cantrell, Irene Hooper (Mac) and Jerry Whitmire. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home (181 S Caldwell St, Brevard, NC 28712). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Gardens (994 Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768).
