Donald Wayne Monk Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Wayne Monk of Brevard, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Talmadge Monk and Alice Lee Hendricks Monk; his brother Norris Harrison Monk; and his sister-in-law Juanita. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Manuel Monk; his daughter Allison Monk Vallotton (Vallotton, Jr.); his grandchildren, Victoria Maxwell Vallotton and William Talmadge Vallotton; his son Stephen Gray Monk (Megan Baxley Monk); his granddaughters, Ella Baxley Monk and Sarah Gray Monk; and his brothers, Norman Talmadge Monk (Beverly) and Joseph Derwood "Nick" Monk (Colleen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and one great grandniece.
