It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Edwards Sumner (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on June 11, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay William Edwards and Mary Goodson Edwards; and her siblings, Doris Justus, Jackie Edwards and Michael Edwards.
She is survived by: her sons, Travis Dean Sumner (Deana) and Jonathan Brian Sumner (Natalie) of Mt; her grandchildren, Padgett Sumner, Kate Boyd, Maggie Sumner and Peyton Sumner; and her siblings, Dennis Edwards (Maybelle), Gerald Edwards (Vickie), Carolyn Owenby, Charles and Pecolia Edwards. She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
