He is survived by: his wife Anne; his daughters, Susanne McDonald of Brevard and Karen Phillips (Paul) of Brevard; his grandchildren, Connor McDonald, Emily McDonald, Graham Phillips, John Phillips and Jesse Phillips; and his brother Warren Clayton Hewett of Orangeburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
