He was predeceased by: his father Charlie Harvey Smith Sr.; his grandparents, Harvey, Ethel Holden Smith of Brevard, Lucille Tolbert Slatton of Benton, AZ and Ray E. Richey of Black Rock, AZ; and his uncle Kenneth Richey of Bee Branch, AZ..
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Michell Smith; his mother Rita R. Smith of Brevard; his daughter Siarrah Lekan of Brevard; and his granddaughter Evahlyn Lekan. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home (181 S Caldwell St, Brevard, NC 28712). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
