He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Charles "L. C." and Lula Cassell Wilson; and his brother Melvin Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Christine LaBare Wilson; his sons, Brandon L. Wilson (Sara) of Waynesville, NC and Josh L. Wilson (Nikki) of Independence, KY; his sister Sue Ella Kirkman (Ronnie) of Mt. Airy, NC; and his grandchildren, Daisy, Anna and Riley.
