She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James Hubert Hamblin, Sr. and Laura Lucinda Walthall Hamblin; her husband Barry Ellis Curlee, Sr.; her daughter Lucinda Curlee; and her brothers, Philip and Joseph Hamblin.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Curlee Bridges (Chris), Stefanie Curlee Huffstetler (Chris) and Barry Ellis Curlee, Jr. (Jessicah); her grandchildren, Kristen Saige Huffstetler, Hannah Nicole Anderson (Darren), Joshua David Huffstetler (Kristin), Samuel Ellis Curlee, Olivia Eden Manuel (Cymon) and Sofiah Grace Curlee; her great grandchildren, Elijah Luke Anderson, Malakai Gregory Anderson, SayDee Lucinda Huffstetler and Elizabeth Saige Huffstetler; and her siblings, Paula Baucom (John), Mitzi Hamblin and Jim Hamblin (Tina). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brevard Church of God (91 McLean Rd, Brevard, NC 28712). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
