He is survived by: his wife Patsy Sutton Burnette of Barker's Creek; his children, Keith of Arden, NC and Karla of Charlotte, NC; his grandson Cameron Burnette of Fort Wayne, IN; and his siblings, Doug of Bryson City, NC, Roger Burnette of Bryson City, NC and Janette Leonard of Huntsville, AL..
