He was predeceased by: his father Elbert Willis Brittain. He is survived by: his wife Ayvonne Brittain; his mother Josephine "Jo" Barnes (Jim); his children, Brian Scott Brittain and Brittany Roberts (Conner); his sister Lisa Dee Brown (Ben); and his stepdaughter Jessica Pierce.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carson's Creek Baptist Church.
