He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Lyon Whitmire and Marie Allison Whitmire. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Galloway Whitmire; his sister Shirley Stewart; his sons, Ron B. Whitmire (Susan) and Terry L Whitmire (Laurie); and his grandchildren, Shannon Ropp, Celeste Williams (Sam), Justin Whitmire (Jess), Ashley Owen (Chris), Aaron Whitmire (Alicia) and Heather Whitmire. He is also survived by brothers and sisters in- law, and many nieces and nephews.
