It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Davis Shiflet Jr. of Brevard, North Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Shiflet and Mildred Shiflet; his children, Stone Meredith (James Meredith), Beau Shiflet (Shelly Shiflet), Dustin Shiflet (Angela Shiflet) and Laine Kerr (Sean Kerr); his grandchildren, Gantt Meredith, Samuel Shiflet and Catherine Shiflet; his sister Elizabeth Stroup (Donald Stroup); and his nephews, Bryan Stroup and Zeb Stroup.
