It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Belva Ora Gillespie (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on March 5, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Gillespie (Darlene), Sid Gillespie (Sheila) and Beverly Barnett (Tammie); and her grandchildren, Elaine Hauss (Wilson), Crystal McCall (Ernie), Justin Gillespie, Treena Finney (Zachary) and Tammy Johnson (Chris). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Moriah Cemetery Fund or to Cherryfield Baptist Church, 2970 Whitmire Rd., Brevard, NC 28712.
