With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Cox O'Neal (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on December 19, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Andrew and Letha Howard Cox; her siblings, John Jr., Milford, Charlie and Kay; her former husband Boyce Albert Bishop; her daughter Deborah Lynn Bishop; her husband A. V. O'Neal; and her stepchildren, Stephen V. O'Neal and Kathy O. Pressing.
She is survived by: her sister Gail Cox Edmonds (Douglas Edmonds) of Brevard, NC; her children, John and Anita Bishop; her grandchild Dory Paxton; her great grandchild True Paxton; and her stepson-in-law Andrew Pressing of Wytheville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
