She was predeceased by: her parents, Fate Mahaffey and Annie Alexander Mahaffey; and her husband Ralph J. Brown. She is survived by: her children, James W. Brown (Paula) of Montana and Edith Kitchen of Fletcher; her grandchildren, Tammy Welch (Dale) of East Fork, Jeffery Kitchen of Fletcher and Kyle Kitchen of Fletcher; and her great grandchildren, Jenifer Welch and Austin Kitchen. She is also survived by four step grandchildren.
