He is survived by: his children, Angela Shook (Darrin) of Hayesville, NC. and Jeff Lockaby of Douglasville, GA.; his stepson Chris Penland (Nikki) of Buford, GA.; his grandchildren, Amber Lockaby, Dylan Lockaby, Madison Shook and Brett Shook; his stepgrandchildren, Maddie Penland, Will Penland and Wyatt Penland; his sister Deborah Carey (Richie) of Blairsville, GA.; and his sister-in-law Reba Lockaby of Rome, GA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
