She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Garfield and Velma Beatrice Crowell McConnell; her husband William Joseph Horan; her daughter Margaret Harvey; and her siblings, Kathryn Cookman and Stephen McConnell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Mercer (Richard) of Brasstown and Mary Jane Bettis of Lawrenceville, GA; and her brother Midge McConnell (Myrna) of Lincoln, Maine. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
