It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Roberts Sherwin (Brasstown, North Carolina), born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, who passed away on April 8, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Walker and Jan Walker of Vicksburg; her sister Opal Masters; her husband Jim Sherwin of Brasstown; her children, Tammy Smith (Steven) of Collierville, TN, Byron Sherwin (Leigh) of Vicksburg, MS, Billy Sherwin of Honolulu, HI and John Sherwin of Marietta, GA; her brothers, Don, John, Tom Roberts, Jerry, Lance, Kirk, Bart and Adam Walker; her grandchildren, Erin, Nathan, Lucy Smith, Logan, Marin, Tatum and Jarek Sherwin; and her sisters-in-law, Rosemary Colgrove, Carol Parks and Bonnie Cory. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
