With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Bruner Lunsford (Brasstown, North Carolina), who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred Bruner Lunsford to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Rogers and Pearlie M. Lunsford; his wife Gladys Greene Lunsford; and his sisters, Furel and Beatrice.
He is survived by: his brother Hoyt (Margaret); his sons, Dan (Beverly) and Tony (Melanie); his grandchildren, Shannon (David), Natalie and Eddie (Rae); his great grandchildren, Sam, Hannah (Jimmy) and David; and his great great grandchildren, ZolaMae and Rowan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Little Brasstown Baptist Church (6120 Harshaw Rd, Brasstown, NC 28902). The military honors was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the American Legion- Steve Youngdeer. A reception was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Fellowship Hall.
