It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Annette Mathis Owens of Bostic, North Carolina, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Mathis and Edith Lovelace Mathis; her husband Larry Wayne Owens; and her siblings, Poody Stanley, Letha Scruggs and Spencer Lovelace.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy McDaniel (Todd) and Sonny Taylor (Nicole); her stepdaughter Stephine Jackson (Don); and her sister-in-law Pat Lovelace. She is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several, nieces, great nieces, and great-great nieces.
