He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Jenkins and Fleurdelis McMillan Jenkins; and his daughter Gina Mullins. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Stevens (Joye) of Bostic, Ashley Lee (Mary Catherine) of Huntsville, AL and Shannon Sexton (Mark) of McDonough, GA; his sisters, Shirley Anderson of Maiden and Jenelle Miller of Granite Falls; and his grandchildren, Mallory Whitson, Jacob Fulcher, Jessica Stevens, Devin Stevens, Camrun Stevens, Alana Sprouse, Billy Sprouse, Kristopher Stephens, Matthew Lee and Rachel Lee. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
