He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Angela Bridges of Ellenboro and Tommy Philbeck of Bostic; his grandparents, Joseph Clain Bridges, Luna Padgett Bridges and Harold; his daughters, Alisha Bridges of Forest City, Katlyn Bridges of Ellenboro and Victoria Spencer Bridges of Ellenboro; his grandmother Nancy Kennedy Walker of Ellenboro; his siblings, Nicole Bailey of Bostic and Justin Harrill Bridges of Rutherfordton; and his granddaughter Alana Grace Hammond.
